Book Cover Art

Photgraphs & e-paintings and other forms of art make attractive covers

E-paintings
My e-paintings are pictures created in Microsoft Paintbrush program.  These pictures take a long time to create - but so does a good story.  I want something creative on my cover - something personal.
PhotoScript
I do not consider myself a professional photographer.  That said, anyone who takes pictures is likely to come up with something exceptional.  I have taken thousands of pictures.  Each one I examine closely.  When the picture conveys a thought or evokes emotion, I call it a photoscript.  Some of these have made it to the covers of my books.
Sketch & Scan
Since early childhood I have been artisticly inclined.  I carved figures from the bark of pine trees, soap or anything else I could sink a knife into.  I sculpted with home-made clay and drew pictures from visions in my mind.  I sometimes use the sketch and scan method for illustrations in my books or covers.
